An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy two-piece button (c. 1600-c. 1700).

The front of the button is missing.

This button is circular in plan. The back of the button is convex and it is concave on the inside. The integral drilled shank is 'D'-shaped in side view and the hole has a diameter of 3.6mm.

The button is drab green.

Diameter: 19.0mm; height: 10.7mm. Weight: 2.99g.

A similar button has been published (Read 2005: 70, ref: 279).
