Pottery. Blackware. A Hard red fabric with glossy black glaze internally, giving out on the upper part of the outside of the body. This is a rim sherd from a pancheon or milk pan. This sherd was kindly identified by Wallace Collyer of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1800-1910.
