Lead bag seal. Cast disc with a slot in one edge and a bifurcated slot in the opposite edge, to function as a drawstring bag closure. Both sides bear the 'pelican in its piety', the brand mark of Earles cement works; together with a circumferential legend, now indistinct. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1890-1940.
