Silver coin. Clipped penny, possibly of Richard II (1377-1399), cf. North no. 1327; star in legend might suggest Edward III (1327-1377) star-marked coinage of 1335-1343, though star is of five points rather than six or eight (North pages 45-46).
Obverse description: Facing bust with tall crown with low spurs between the fleurs, which are trifoliate left and bifoliate right, pointed chin, drapery of narrow wedges with forked end/s, five-pointed star in legend.
