Medieval gold gem set finger ring. Double bezel in the form of two oval settings positioned side-by-side. One is set with a red stone (probably ruby or garnet). The stone is cut so that the upper face is flat. The other bezel is set with a piece of turquoise, the upper face rounded. Both bezels have been moulded into a quatrefoil shape by recessing four semi-circles around the edge of the setting. The shoulders taper into the circular hoop, narrowing from a width of 8.5mm at the bezel to 4.1mm at the bottom of the loop.
