~~A complete copper alloy hooked tag with a triangular plate that tapes to an integral rearwards facing hook. A double linear border that is in-filled with closely packed transvers lines runs around the edge of the plate. Inside the border is a triangular frame that bisected by a narrow double transvers line in the middle. The lower half of the triangular panel is undecorated, while the top half has a double overlapping and off-centre caret that forms two pecks. There is a hole in each of the top corners.
This item is copper alloy but has been coated in a substance, possibly a wax which has darkens the overall colour. The face retains patches of a white metal coating.
