Incomplete medieval copper alloy buckle plate dating to the period c. AD 1250 - 1400. The sheet metal plate is rectangular with the broken stubs of the rolled tabs which would have housed the axis bar projecting from one side. It exhibits two rivet holes, both of which retain a dome-headed copper alloy rivet with roved over ends. The front of the plate plate is bordered by a band of pellets within a wide groove.
