Later Mesolithic to Neolithic (4000 - 2100BC) debitage in the form of a notched flake: Possible chert tertiary flake which is sub-rectangular with a angled proximal end. One lateral edge has fine low-angled retouch on the dorsal surface forming a notch. The other lateral edge, on the ventral surface has short, stepped semi-abrupt re-touch. The dorsal surface has multiple linear scars. The ventral surface has conchoidal ripples but no bulb of percussion, but it may have been truncated. The chert is a matte, mottled pink colour.
The flake measures 22.91mm in length, 11.07mm width, is 3.48mm thick and weighs 0.77grams.
