A complete cast copper-alloy toggle clasp. It has a tapering form with a curvilinear outline. The wider end is straight and the tapered end is rounded into a raised, domed knop. The object is plano-convex in cross section. At the mid point there is openwork decoration in the form of a central circular aperture flanked by three small decorative 'wings' on each side. There is a a second smaller aperture, a rivet hole, at the wider end.
