Early Medieval copper alloy annular brooch, 29mm in length, 26mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 2.63grams. The brooch is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a small circular sectioned bar, 3mm long, set into a recess and this has snapped in half. The upper surface is decorated with two centrally placed lines of dots running its length. On its inner upper edge it has a line of transverse grooves, running up to the line of dots. Its reverse surface is plain and its pin is missing.
