A pierced copper-alloy Roman radiate of Carausius (AD 286-293), dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece period 14). Probably [P]R[OVIDEN...] reverse type depicting Providentia standing left holding cornucopiae. Mint of London. The coin has two circular piercings close to the edge of the flan, one of which has worn through.
