Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle with ornate outer edge dating to the period c. AD 1150 - 1400. It has a narrowed and recessed axis bar with a pointed knop at either end. The D-shaped loop has an expanded outer edge with a central costriction, probably fora missing sheet roller and flanked by two knops. The sheet pin appears overlarge for the frame and may be a replacement.
