A very worn and scuffed halfpenny of Edward I (r,1272-1307) from the Berwick-upon-Tweed mint c.1296-1307. Berwick halfpenny class 3a North 1087.

Obverse : facing crowned bust 'EDWAR ANGL [DNS HYB]' with unbarred N. Reverse: long cross with three pellets in each quarter (slightly double struck) 'VILL / ABE / R[EW / ICI]'
