An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman T shaped brooch with headloop, dating to AD 50-150. The brooch is incomplete insofar as the majority of the cast head loop is missing, and the foot is missing. The brooch has tubular wings containing the pin, and decoration on the front of the wings, which consists of a deep central groove flanked by a narrow groove on each side on each wing.
The bow is decorated with five vertical riased ridges and four vertical grooves running along its length. The edges of the brooch are raised at the break which does not appear to be due to damage.
In total, brooch measures 30.02 mm in length, 17.63 mm at the wingspan and weighs 5.39g.
