An incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy single loop buckle with spacers, dating to the period AD 1350 -1400. The oval frame, pin and parts of the spacers survive, but the plates are missing. The oval frame is bevelled on the upper face and flat on the lower face.
Similar buckles can be seen in Egan and Pritchard's Dress Accessories (1991, p80-81, nos.324-326.
