Fragment of copper-alloy strip, date unknown. The strip has a D-shaped section with a rounded top surface and a flat inner surface. The fragment is bent so that it resembles a hook; the length of the fragment when bent is 36.53mm. It has a width of 3.43mm and a thickness of 2.68mm. The weight of the fragment is 3.34g. The strip tapers slightly at each end where it has been broken off. The surface of the fragment is pitted and marked and corrosion of the copper alloy has resulted in a dark green patina. It is unfortunately not possible to identify or date this object.
