Copper alloy button. Probably die stamped lightly concavo-convex discoid livery button. The front bears complex quartered Arms within a plain Garter-style band with a broad empty zone between it and the rim. The back bears a maker's back stamp: WARRANTED BEST QUALITY and a drawn wire loop brazed to the back. Both front and back retain white metal plating. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
