Fragment of a larger tertiary flake with retouch around two adjacent edges and the corner between them. The flake is missing the proximal end and this appears to be a snapped break with short scalar abrupt retouch across it from the ventral side becoming semi-abrupt around the corner and down the adjacent edge where there is also short scalar semi-abrupt retouch on the ventral face worked from the dorsal side. The distal end also appears broken with hinged removal from the distal end, given the thinness and size of the ripples, possible an accidental snap or chip. On the remaining section of the dorsal face there appears to be evdence of at least three previous parallel removals. It is 23.4mm long, 31.0mm wide, 7.3mm thick and weighs 5.78 grams.
It is hard to suggest a date in isolation but a Neolithic date is suggested based on the group of finds in the area.
