A complete knapped lithic implement of probable Mesolithic date, circa 9,000 - 4,000 BC. The implement is a piece of debitage, or waste material, produced during the knapping process. It is a tertiary flake which is sub-triangular in plan and sub-ovate in section. The ventral surface displays conchoidal fractures. No other signs of working are evident.
The flint is white in colour. It measures 18.7mm in length, 9.3mm in width, 3.7mm in thickness and weighs 0.7g.
