A complete cast lead-alloy weight of probable late Medieval or early Post-Medieval date, c. 1400-1600. It is circular in plan and slightly plano-convex in section. Its upper surface demonstrates a stamp in the form of an eight pointed 'sunburst' like design, which itself partially obscures an earlier initial attempt of the same stamp. On the underside of the weight, the same stamp occurs a third time. Preserved in fair condition with an even brownish grey patina, it measures 27.36mm in diameter, 4.91mm thick at its midpoint, and weighs 26.96g.
