An incomplete copper alloy medieval buckle, AD.1200-1450. The buckle is a D shaped frame with a narrow pin bar. The frame widens significantly from the pin bar, curving round to where there is a shallow channel for the pin rest in the middle of the frame opposite the pin bar. The pin is now missing. The object has a uniform dark green patina with some iron staining possibly from an iron pin.
