An incomplete cast pewter post-medieval (AD c.1500-c.1800) spoon, missing its stem. The bowl is deeply concave, semioval in plan and terminates in an old break running horizontally along the width of the bowl. The bowl has a dark grey patina and is very narrow in thickness. The reverse is marked by around five rounded indentations which appear as semiglobular mounds on the upper face. The upper face is otherwise smooth and encrusted with dirt around the mounds. The reverse is otherwise smooth and decorated with a slightly raised oval ridge, which would have probably continued along the stem. The edge of the bowl is smooth and flat, apart from two slight old breaks. There is a short stump, 7.9mm in length and roughly rectangular in cross-section, which terminates in an old break where the stem would have extended from. The object measures 60.6mm long, 44.4mm wide and 3.3mm thick. It weighs 22.68g.
