A fragment (foot/leg) of a cast copper-alloy medieval to post-medieval (AD c.1250-c.1650) cooking vessel. It is roughly semioval in plan with a pointed tip. On the wider end is a flat edge, sub-rectangular in cross-section, at which the leg would have been attached to the vessel. The leg is sub-triangular in profile and tapers inwards to a flat edge at the other end. On the right hand side, the slant towards the tip is worn away. The outer face has a wide, rounded decorative rib running roughly along the centre. The inner face smooth and flat. The object has a green patina. The object measures 64.4mm long, 47.9mm wide and 14.1mm thick. It weighs 109.23g.
