A fragment of a copper alloy leg once attached to a cooking vessel, possibly a cauldron, dating to the late Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1400-1700). The fragment represents the foot and part of the leg, which terminates in a worn break. There are further breaks diagonally across the 'toes' of the foot. There is a central, rounded rib running the length of the outer face of the foot measuring 10.8mm in width, whilst the inside of the foot and leg is flat. The surface of the object has a rough, mottled and abraded surface, with a mid-green patina.
