An incomplete copper-alloy mount with integral rivets likely dating tot the 17th century.

The mount is diamond in form with relief decoration picking out a double lozenge pattern on the front, with a central diamond bisected by a transverse line. The reverse is undecoratted with the stubs of integral rivets/lugs remaining. The mount has been heavily abraded along its edges and one of its points ahs been blunted.

Measurements:24.69 mm in length 10.27 wide, 2.43mm thick and 1.83g in weight.
