Neolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Late) end scraper, 27mm long, 32mm wide, 12mm thick and 13.4g in weight. This piece has been broken and missing its proximal end. The distal end has been rounded to form a classic end scraper of this period. The retouch is quite abrupt as the piece is quite thick. The piece has a nice triangular cross-section and the dorsal face shows a number of flake scars that have all been struck from a unipolar direction. The chert is opaque and light grey that is affected by iron staining.
