At the apex there are traces of an iron ringed attachment, but now only the corrosion and base of the ringed attachment remains. The base has a similar appearance, but with less corrosion. The steelyard weight measures 29.04mm in length, expands to 27.51mm which is the maximum width, before tapering inwards to the base at 6.91mm wide. In total, the steelyard weight weighs 87.97g. The surface is pitted, and a light grey in colour, except for the dark iron corrosion.
