A complete and pierced post-Medieval copper-alloy maravedis of Philip II-Philip IV of Spain (1556-1665), presumably minted at Segovia. The coin is machine made and was probably countermarked during the reign of Philip IV (1621-1665).
Obverse: Illegible, Crowned RX (REX) with countermark.
Reverse: Illegible, Crowned Philippus monogram.
Diameter: 24.3mm. Weight: 4.99g.
The coin has been pierced with a circular hole, 1.6mm in diameter.
