An incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch dating to period AD 50-150. The pin is missing. There are two tubular wings (one is incomplete), closed at the outer ends with a white paste, forming the housing for the pin bar. There is a slot between these wings to accommodate a hinged pin.
The bow is undecorated and tapers towards the foot, the catchplate is triangular and incomplete.
The brooch measures 65.43mm in length, 26.52mm in wingspan, 4.25mm in thick and weighs 13.52g.
