A copper-alloy Iron Age Nauheim derivative (La Tene III) brooch dating to AD 25-100. The brooch is incomplete as the catchplate and the pin are missing and the bow is bent. The brooch includes a slender and slender pivot that leads up to three (the fourth is missing) coils up to create the spring. On the back of the foot of the brooch, there is the remnant of the catchplate. The front of the bow is decorated with three narrow raised ribs, one in the centre and the other two running down the side of the body, one either side.
The brooch measures 53.97mm in length,7.65mm wide (across the spring coils) and weighs 3.35g.
