Lead possible weight. Cast discoid weight with a conical top; mould lines indicate this was cast in a two-piece mould. The metal retains a grey tint without patina which tends to suggest a relatively recent date. The mass might suggest this to represent one [overweight] half of an averdepois ounce. This object was kindly recorded by Luke Robinson on 19 September 2011. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800.
