Early medieval lead alloy spindle whorl., thickness: 8.5 mm, diameter: 32 mm, int. diameter: 10 mm, weight: 47.01 grams.

The whorl is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is decorated on one face with faint traces of a raised border with evenly spaced triangular depressions butting up to it, suggesting flattened pellet decoration? it may be a worn version of this LEIC-4671C6

The form of the whorl is similar to Walton Rogers type B which she dates to 900-1200.
