An incomplete post-medieval single sharp-hooked clasp (Read Class E, type 3 ), dating to period c. AD 1550 - 1750. It is incomplete insofar as the hook is missing. It is decorated with a cross in foral pattern with a central pellet; at projecting ridged and ribbed collar at the juncture of the plate.
The object measures 21.48mm in length and 15.67mm in max width. The thickness measures 1.71mm and the weighs is 1.53g.
