Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, a D-sectioned bar-mount with terminals in the form of a very stylised scallop shell, both springing from a transverse rib, with a rivet hole and four radial grooves. Length 37.2mm. Width 4 - 11.8mm. Other examples include NLM-A7BCE8, BH-220682, BH-3165A2, HAMP-A70BF6, SUR-9DCD47 and NMS-A61407. 14th century.
