Lead metalworking debris. A fragment of lead melt which has congealed in a shallow hollow, with a further deposit of lead poured over it, now with a lightly gouged surface. The lower layer is patinated but the upper is not, which may suggest a relatively recent date for the activity it represents. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1900.
