Neolithic to early Bronze Age (c. 4000 to 1000BC) scraper: The scraper appears to be knapped from a tertiary flake which is a sub-oval. The dorsal surface has multiple re-touch scars and damage. At the proximal end there is slightly invasive and abrupt re-touch. The ventral surface has no visible bulb of percussion, but has faint conchoidal ripples. The scraper is knapped from flint which has a thick cream coloured patina with a dark grey flint revealed where there is damage.
It measures 59.16mm long, 44.79mm wide, 10.41mm thick and weighing 30.06g.
The scraper is probably a rounded/ end and side scraper and dates to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age periods, c. 4000 to 1000BC.
