The sherd has an outer oxidised surface which is a orange red colour, with the inside of the vessel a light brown colour. There are elongated voids which suggest grass tempering, with quartz inclusions. The fabric of the sherd is hard, suggesting an earthen ware. The sherd measures 32.2mm in length, 22.2mm in width, and 10.4mm in thickness.
