A copper alloy Post Medieval Trade Token Farthing of John Midelborah dating to 1658 at Lincoln. The shield of arms on the reverse is most likely those of John himself and based upon the Arms of the Fishmongers Guild but suitably differenced, according to the Law of Arms, i.e.without the two fishes in saltire on either side of the three central fishes haurient (swimming) and colours of the field(s) were also probably different. Also in the Fishmongers Guild, all the fish are crowned. Williamson (Lincolnshire) no. 158.
