A pottery body sherd thought to probably be part of a strainer/colander, dating to the medieval period. The fragment is orange-brown in colour implying oxidising firing conditions with a thin brown-grey layer on one side. The fragment contains three holes in it which are angled. The fabric appears to be hard earthenware and there are a few small, dark coloured inclusions visible along the surface of the sherd.
It weighs 11g, and is c. 28mm in length, c. 40mm in width and c. 8mm thick
