A complete, once circular but minus the pin, cast, copper alloy, small, Medieval annular brooch. Flat at the back, semi-circular cross-section with a moulded front surface consisting of twelve slightly irregular plain knops with radial grooves in between, two seem to join together with a shallow groove - a possible pin notch. The frame has been slightly distorted by agricultural machinery, worn with a matt green corroded surface with a few brown patches on the raised areas. This is likely to date between 1270-1400. Ref.
