A complete Medieval or Post Medieval cast circular uniface lead alloy token. One side has an animal; the other side is plain. It is dark grey in appearance. The token has a diameter of between 18-20mm, 2.13 mm thick and weighs 3.32 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; therefore they are difficult to date precisely, but those with more common decorations are generally dated to c. 1250-1800
