Post-medieval copper alloy stud from upholstery, with domed and circular head and a square-sectioned shank. The head is decorated with punched dots, annulets and crescents, with twelve curving radial lines of very small dots forming an impeller-like motif with a central ring-and-dot, cf. buttons such as Read 2005, nos. 117 - 119. Length 14.3mm. Diameter 15.6mm. 17th century.
