Copper alloy strap end. A composite strap end comprising a rectangular plate with a narrow projecting tapered lug, and to fasten it a dome-headed rivet of head diameter 5.2mm and length 5.8mm, and a circular rove of diameter 7.5mm retaining the other end of the rivet, to attach it to a narrow strap. Gilding appears on the display face. Suggested date: Late Medieval to Post-Medieval, 1400-1600.
