A lead alloy weight of uncertain date (Roman to post-medieval, AD 43 - 1800). It is circular in plan, with two flat surfaces and a rounded edge. Surfaces are undecorated except for rough scratches which could be interpreted as a W or M or simply accidental damage. There is a dimple or puncture in the centre of one surface which does not penetrate the entire thickness.
The object has an even buff colured patina. It could be a weight or a token. Diameter is 22 mm, thickness 3 mm. Object weighs 11.1g
