Three body sherds from early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) handmade earthernware vessels. Both the cores and outer surfaces are a dark grey-brown colour and the inner surfaces are smooth and shiny. The fabric is coarse and crumbly and is tempered with poorly sorted fragments of white shelly material (<10mm) and there are frequent long, rounded voids.
