Silver coin. Round farthing of Edward I (1272-1307) or Edward II (1307-1327), Withers type 28f issue of 1300-1310, London mint. Assertively cleaned by the finder.

Obverse description: facing smiling bust with crown with no intermediate spearheads, bifoliate right and trifoliate left; drapery of angled wedges. Initial cross pattee.

Obverse inscription: EDWARDVS REX AN

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle.
