An incomplete copper alloy late medieval to early post medieval candle holder, dating to c. 1450-1550. The holder is a hollow cup which is hexagonal in cross section, which narrows slightly before widening to an oval shaped hoop. Either end of the cup is a raised rim and collar. On two of the hexagonal sides is a rectangular slot and a circular perforation. These two sides are opposite each other.
On the terminal edge of the hoop is a rectangular plate, projecting from this is a circular rivet. The hoop is rectangular in cross section.
The candle holder has a dark green patina, with patches of light brown corrosion. It measures 63.9mm in length, 25.9mm in width and 33.72g in weight.
