Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, oval with convex sides, collared knop at both ends of the off-set narrowed bar with central offset for missing pin, thickened outside edge with pin-groove between four transverse ribs and two large angled rounded knops. Length 22mm. Width 25mm. For broadly similar examples see Egan and Pritchard (2002, 73, fig.44, nos.289, 299 and 302 and 77, fig.46, nos.312 and 314). 13th - 14th century.
