Roman ring-necked flagon dating to the 2nd century AD. This fragment includes the rim, neck, handle and part of the shoulder of a ring-neck flagon. The rim flares out and is decorated with four concentric rings. The handle has a central groove and rounded sides created a reeded appearance. The fabric is oxidised with a grey core and red margins, there appears to be a white slip on the external surface.
The length is 85mm, the width is 65mm and the weight 34.38g.
