A flint scraper of probable Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2350 BC. The scraper is struck from a secondary flake and retains c.25% cortex. The ventral face exhibits a low bulb of percussion and faint conchoidal ripple marks. A striking platform is present at the proximal end. The dorsal face has 1 parallel flake scar from previous flake removal, and short, scaled, semi abrupt retouch along its distal end. The flint is grey-brown in colour with white inclusions.
The scraper measures 44.65mm in length, 36.89mm in width, 12.35mm in thickness and weighs 20.35g.
